FEMALES IN AGRICULTURE PHOTO CONTEST RULES & GUIDELINES
- Submissions should showcase farm and ranch women in diverse agricultural roles. Images not depicting farm or ranch women will not be considered eligible for this contest.
- Limit two (2) entries per photographer. Each photo entry should be submitted by the photographer by email to administrator@anniesproject.org along with information listed below:
- Photographer’s name
- Address
- Photograph title
- General photo release signed by the subject or parent/legal guardian where applicable
- Parents/Guardians submitting photos with identifiable subjects under the age of 18 must complete the minor section of the general photo release form.
- The general photo release form can be downloaded here.
- Upon receipt, eligible photo entries will be placed in an album on the Annie’s Project Facebook page, found at facebook.com/Annies-Project-Education-For-Farm-Women.
- Winning photographs will be selected by a panel of judges. Facebook “likes” will be taken into consideration for judging.
- Photos must be submitted by October 1, 2016. Photographs do not have to be shot during this time period. They can be from the past or present.
- Any U.S. citizen over the age of 18 may enter the contest. Contestants do not have to be Annie’s Project graduates to participate.
- Photos submitted must be the original work of the contestant.
- Photos may be taken with any type of camera.
- Each photo entry must be submitted in an electronic .jpg file format.
- Please do not submit photos with time/date stamps.
- Winning photographers will be notified via email and winning photographs will be displayed on the Annie’s Project – Education for Farm Women Facebook Page.
- Winning photos will be printed in the 2016 APEFW Annual Report with photographer name and city captions. The annual report will be displayed on the Annie’s Project – Education for Farm Women (APEFW) website and distributed to stakeholders. Winning photographers will receive a copy of the annual report.
- APEFW may also use the images in other publications, on their website and/or social media sites, advertising/marketing materials and promotions.
- By submitting an entry, the photographer agrees to the contest rules as described here.
- No money or reward will be exchanged.
- APEFW reserves the right to use or not use any and all photos that are submitted.
- APEFW Board Members and their families may enter.
